Springfield Library of Things : T-Mobile hotspot

Borrowers must be 18 years or older and have a library card in good standing in order to checkout a library hotspot. Hotspots can be checked out by adult patrons from towns with a certified, Massachusetts public library. Hotspot must be returned during library hours at the Circulation Desk. Loans are for 14 days with no renewals.

A rechargeable battery and SIM card is pre-loaded. Hotspots are made possible through a grant from the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

This Wi-Fi hotspot connects the Internet to up to ten enabled devices such as laptops, smartphones, tablets and the like. The hotspot is portable allowing you to connect devices almost anywhere (eg: home, in a vehicle, the park, etc.). Hotspot checkouts are limited to one device per household at a time. A signed Borrowing Agreement is required for each checkout.
